Liberal Democrat MP Manuela Perteghella officially opened her new constituency office on Friday, January 3rd.
The office, located on the ground floor of the Playhouse Theatre, provides a welcoming and accessible space for residents to meet with Manuela and her team. It is designed to be a hub for addressing local concerns, sharing ideas, and discussing important issues. Constituents can visit by appointment on most Fridays.
Manuela celebrated the occasion by cutting a bright yellow ribbon at the opening ceremony. Reflecting on the location, she shared her enthusiasm:
“It is great that our office, fittingly for Shakespeare's MP, is located in the same building as the Stratford Playhouse, at the centre of the community and in a much-cherished civic building. It’s important to me to be accessible to local residents, and I look forward to hearing from as many of you as possible.”
The Playhouse Theatre, a cornerstone of cultural life in Stratford, now also serves as a place for residents to connect directly with their elected representative.
